Søren Brunak is professor of bioinformatics and center director at Center for Biological Sequence Analysis at the Technical University of Denmark. He specializes in systems biology, patient stratification, disease gene finding, and individualized treatment. Søren Brunak is part of the scientific advisory committees of several scientific organizations, including EMBL, EBI, and the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Genetics.
Dr. Niclas T. Hansen, PhD, MSc, MPhil
Niclas Tue Hansen holds a PhD degree in bioinformatics and a MPhil degree in business and entrepreneurship from Cambridge University (England). Niclas’ research has had particular focus on drug-gene relationships and disease gene finding in mental disorders He has also worked with predictive pharmacogenomics and text-mining at Stanford University.
Prof. Lars Juhl Jensen, PhD, MSc
Lars Juhl Jensen is research professor at the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Center for Protein Research at the Panum Institute in Copenhagen where he leads a systems biology group. He is a world leading expert in literature mining, integration of large-scale experimental datasets, and analysis of biological interaction networks.
Dr. Kasper Lage, PhD, MSc
Kasper Lage is the Director of Bioinformatics of the Department of Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital. He is also Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, and Associate Member of the The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. He is an expert in disease systems biology, genetics and genomics and has contributed to elucidating the cellular networks driving cancers and immunological, neurological and metabolic disorders.
